About Our Start... Randy
Randy’s Rescue started around 6 years ago when I met a horse that looked like a walking corpse. I could see every rib, and he was dead in the eyes. It was heartbreaking. We were looking for a lesson horse and this boy was “dead broke” per the ad... but mostly dead and broken. It took us a year to fix him up and get him healthy again. Then he found his forever home with a gentleman named Shelby, and they were best friends.
Several other saved and rehomed horses and small dogs later, a couple permanent residents that are blind and/or old, and a few newbies that had a tough start in life and here we are.... Saving horses and getting them into the right homes with the right people.
Meet Juliette... Juju for short. She is the Supervisor of this Randy's Rescue and my main gal. Rescued out of a Oklahoma breeding farm, this 10 yr old Maltese was cage bound and bred to death. Her stomach was hacked apart in a mammary tumor removal gone wrong, and a “supposedly” spay procedure before we got her...and nope, she's not fixed. She is needy, has heart issues and separation anxiety, but my god the love she gives. She too had lost that light in her eyes from years of neglect. But now she is daddy’s girl and the "Supervisor" of RR. You will find her in the truck or wherever I am.
These babies can go on to have great lives!
I hope to share all the stories of the horses and dogs rescued thru RR.

Our Mission
Randy's Rescue NFP is dedicated to the Rescue, Rehabilitation and Rehoming of Abandoned, Abused, Neglected and/or Senior equines... an occasionally small dogs. We make it our mission to make healthy happy pets by providing the care, feed and medical needs they need from day one. Our rescues are owner relinquished pets. They might be someone that passed away or someone that just doesn't have the means to give their equine proper care anymore. We pass no judgement and welcome them for the courage to ask for help before it's too late.
